Training for Employment in New Mexico's Medical Cannabis Program
This course in ethics is one of the six classes found in the required Core Compliance Training for 5 STAR Alumni who train with us to work in the local cannabis field.
What do students, aspiring employees, and employees learn through this course?
This course introduces a focused understanding of how to apply and maintain a code of ethics while working for a Licensed Cannabis Business in New Mexico. Medical cannabis licensed employees & job applicants will learn why ethics is important to the industry. This class will help professionals of various backgrounds to understand ethical decisions making when dealing with moral temptations, ethical issues, and ethical dilemmas in this field. The purpose of this course is to establish common “ground rules” when working in the cannabis industry to understand ethical employee/employer relations. This course will help to guide Responsible Cannabis Employees toward applying good ethics into day-to-day operations as a means of developing their professional conduct. Overall, the material in this class will promote ethics as it relates to HIPAA and state compliance.

Methodology and Outcomes:
All courses at the Cannabis Training Center offer a pre and post testing structure to ensure improved outcomes for our students. This also helps our educators improve and update curriculum standards each year. All courses offer 5-7 modules with the actual PowerPoint presentations, audio, and manuals to read along with the instructor. Each course has a customized syllabus as well as "student study assets" - links and resources that provide actual data used to develop the course.
